The Florida Department of Education is conducting a survey for parents of students who have an Individual Educational Plan (IEP), receive Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services, and are currently attending a Florida Public School. The School Board of Clay County is proud and excited to be launching our Digital Classroom Initiative, which includes the implementation of “Google Apps for Education.” Your student’s teachers will be using Google Apps for lessons, assignments, and communication. On October 26th, all students in grades 3-12 will have Google accounts that are managed by the School District of Clay County allowing students to create, collaborate, and store their work in a secure online environment that is available from any internet connected device 24/7. January 26th through the 30th Coppergate joined students from all over the state of Florida to participate in Celebrate Literacy Florida! We enjoyed many different literacy activities including: book buffet author study, guest readers, reading and writing buddies, used book swap, and an author visit with Hank and Jan Racer. The Racers informed and entertained students in K-6 about the writing and illustrating process! We had a great week celebrating literacy!
